Child Bereavement Group

DO YOU KNOW A CHILD WHO IS SAD?  HAVE THEY EXPEREINCED THE DEATH OF A LOVED ONE, DIVORCE, ABANDONMENT, OR OTHER LOSS OF NORMALCY?

THE CHILDREN’S BEREAVEMENT ART GROUP IS A GREAT WAY TO HELP WITH HEALING.

Children’s Bereavement Art Group, also known as CBAG, is a Christian ministry program.  Founded in 2013 by Under The Horizon in Gettysburg.

Under The Horizon has expanded the CBAG program into the Dillsburg area.  November 18th will be the first Dillsburg event.  Events are held the second Saturday of each month from 11 to 1:30 at the worship center of Calvary United Methodist Church at 203 Mumper Lane.  This free program uses fellowship and art to help children know that is it okay to be sad. CBAG does not provide therapy.

CBAG works with children dealing with numerous types of loss including but not limited to death, divorce, and abandonment.

Through faith, encouragement, fellowship, creative expression, and friendship, the program aims to instill hope for the future.

Children ages 5 to 15 are welcome to attend at no cost.
