We will be traveling to Tarboro, NC to assist with Hurricane Matthew flood damage on October 6-12, 2019. The team will be led by Joy Shields, or cell phone 814-931-5324. If you plan to go on this trip, please respond to this email now to reserve a spot on the team. This will give me time to respond to the the coordinators in advance about the teams volunteer construction skills. Then mail registration forms by the deadline date.

· The cost for the week will be $175 which includes travel, lodging and food.

· The registration and liability release forms are attached. If you are interested in this trip, please complete the forms and send them along with your registration fees to Joy Shields, 512 27th Ave, Altoona, PA 16601. The deadline for registration will be September 16, 2019.

· Will need individuals from the team to drive personal vehicles to help transport team members. (You will be reimbursed for fuel & a small stipend for your vehicle use) Please mark on your registration form if you would like to help with the transportation.

· We will be working under the "North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church". We will be staying in the same facility we stayed last October.

There will be more details emailed as I get the information from the coordinators and the trip date gets closer. If you have any questions about the trip or know any friends who would like to become a VIM team member and join us on our trip, please recruit them and give them a copy of the registration form. New members are always welcome.
